Paola A. Nacif Solis

Paola has more than 5 years’ experience in corporate ad transactional practice. She focuses principally on providing legal advice to national and foreign businesses in their operations in Mexico. Her work includes review of legal strategies to comply with clients’ objectives, as well as their implementation and coordination with different legal areas.

Her responsibility includes review, preparation and negotiation of contracts necessary for the daily operation of businesses. In addition, she advises clients in matters of merger and acquisitions, spin-offs, reorganizations among other corporate relevant matters. She has broad experience and knowledge about the process of opening of businesses in Mexico, guiding businesses not only in their establishment, but also in commencing and maintaining
a legally correct operation.

Likewise, she has broad knowledge in foreign investment, antitrust, compliance by businesses in matters of consumer protection, guidance on liability, obligations and rights of shareholders and partners and assistance in obtaining of necessary registrations, permits and authorizations, as well as contacts with various pertinent authorities on regulatory matters. She also provides advice on the legal management of businesses, including legal audits and other legal formalities necessary to guarantee corporate compliance of clients in Mexico.

She has participated in the ESG industry group (environment, social and corporate governance) of a law firm, preparing the framework of management and has established programs of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, including the preparation of policies. programs and statistics. She has participated in the preparation of documentation relating to the report and analysis of relevant data for the requirements of sustainability of the clients.
